Success continues with outstanding GCSE results

The atmosphere at St Louis Grammar School, Ballymena was one of absolute delight as students reaped the rewards of their hard work and resilience over the last two years of study.

100% of Year 12 students attained 7 or more GCSEs at Grades A* - C (including English and Maths). 7 students within the cohort achieved an exceptional 10 A* grades with a further 4 students achieving 10 A*/A Grades including 9 A*. 80 students are celebrating an outstanding 8 or more A*/A Grades at GCSE. A remarkable 68.1% of all results achieved were A*/A Grades and 89.1% were A* - B.

These exceptional results reflect St Louis’ reputation as a top-achieving school in Northern Ireland.

Principal, Jacqui O’Neill commented, “I am so proud of the achievements of every student within this year group. These remarkable results highlight the commitment and diligence of our students. They are also a reflection of the dedication of our staff and the positive and supportive relationships which we continue to foster with our parents. This collaborative approach is essential for this level of success. We wish the GCSE Class of 2023 every success as they progress into the next stage of their education and look forward to welcoming students back to school in September to begin their A-Level study”.
