Public Speaking Finalists

Congratulations to Annie, Michael and Peter who competed in the UK Inter-Regional Public Speaking competition in Bristol.

Peter confidently chaired the meeting, Annie wowed the audience with her thought provoking speech on 'Objectivity in Journalism' and Michael concluded the meeting with a perfectly balanced vote of thanks, combining wit and perceptive insight.

Michael won the award for best overall 'Expresser of Thanks'!

Well done to all three pupils and the English department for facilitating such a wonderful opportunity.
