Community of Lifesavers Programme

10Lír were the first Year 10 class to complete the Community of Lifesavers Programme on Friday 21^st April with Mrs McVey and Mr Quinn. Pupils were taught practical skills in lifesaving covering areas such as the recovery position, choking, CPR and using an AED.

“We learnt many useful lifesaving procedures, such as how to use EpiPens and confidently do CPR. Altogether I really enjoyed this course and am glad we had the opportunity to complete it. I feel much more prepared in case a situation that requires these skills arises” – Lauren May Ong
