Peace Builders NI programme

St. Louis Grammar School is proud to be the first post-primary school in Northern Ireland to take part in the Peace Builders NI programme! ⭐️

On Friday 20th March, pupils in 8 Laragh took part in their first collaborative event at the Olympia Leisure Centre, Belfast, alongside students from Mitchell House School, Donegall Road Primary School and Sunnylands Primary School. The event was officially opened by the Lord Mayor, Tracy Kelly, marking a special and memorable start to the day. The programme centred on promoting inclusivity, celebrating diversity and building peace, with pupils engaging in interactive workshops led by Young at Art, as well as thoughtful conflict resolution activities. They also contributed to a stunning peace quilting project which each school will display with pride!

Our pupils were truly outstanding throughout the day. They demonstrated exceptional maturity, kindness and respect, fully embracing the spirit of the programme and forming positive connections with others. It was a deeply rewarding experience for everyone involved and our students represented the St. Louis community with immense pride.
