We are delighted to invite parents and guardians of Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students to a special literacy session delivered by the external Learning and Teaching specialists, LearnSpark. The session, “Guiding Parents and Guardians: Helping Your Child with Literacy,” will take place on Wednesday 11th March at 6.30pm in St. Louis’ Main Building – please enter via main doors.
LearnSpark have shared the following overview of the session:
“This research‑informed course develops a shared understanding of literacy and its importance across the curriculum. It provides practical strategies and guidance to support children’s literacy development both in school and at home. Participants will leave feeling confident and equipped to actively support children in building the literacy skills needed for academic success and everyday life.”
This event reflects our ongoing commitment to working closely with families to support every child’s development and to promote the importance of literacy across all aspects of learning.
