St Louis students compete in the NI Cup at U14, U16 and U18 while the local competition (Mid Antrim) caters for Year 8 to Year 11 students.

The Mid-Antrim Cup, which consists of school teams from Ballymena and surrounding area.  The Northern Ireland Cup has school teams from all around the province and is a more prestigious knock out competition.

St Louis won the Senior Cup (U18) in 2008 under the guidance of Mr J Sexton and have reached three finals since then.  In 2012 the U14 squad lost out to St Columb's Derry while the same panel of players reached the U16 final in 2014 only to lose 4-0 to the Derry city school again.  The senior team qualified for the 2014 decider also but came up against a very slick, skilful and talented Belfast Met team.  The Belfast side had four players on their squad who play in the Irish League and their experience was evident in their 3-1 win to compound an unsuccessful day for St Louis.
