Post 16

All Year 13 pupils are offered a choice of three or four A level subjects or Applied GCE courses.


Curriculum provision at post 16 is under review at present and will be expanded to meet the demands of Entitlement Framework requirements in association with partner post primary schools in the Ballymena Learning Together partnership.


In Year 14 students are expected to study at least three of their A.S. subjects to A2 level.


Pupils in Year 13 also sample Extra Curricular opportunities, including GAA and Coaching Awards, Driving Lessons, Personal and Social Development Courses, Peer Mentoring, Paired Reading and many Career orientated activities.
